Tasawwuf and the Path of the Qadiriyya of Holiness Hadhrat Al-Syed Tahir Allauddin Al-Qadri Al-Gillani (R.A)

Holiness Hadhrat Al-Syed Tahir Allauddin Al-Qadri Al-Gillani (R.A) was a living embodiment of the Qadiriyya Sufi tradition. He taught that Sufism was not merely about outward rituals but about inner purification and complete submission to Allah’s will.

His teachings revolved around three core principles:

  1. Tazkiyah (Purification of the Soul): A believer must cleanse their heart from arrogance, jealousy, and material desires.
  2. Ihsan (Spiritual Excellence): Worship should be performed as if one is seeing Allah, developing a deep consciousness of His presence.
  3. Mahabbah (Divine Love): True Sufism lies in developing an intense love for Allah and His Messenger (PBUH), which manifests in righteous actions and humility.
